Why we name our technologies
At Fogale Sensors, we made a deliberate choice: to give each of our measurement solutions a name.
Because our technologies go beyond products. They solve complex physical challenges, often in extreme environments. A name makes them identifiable, memorable, and meaningful. Each name reflects both a capability — and the idea behind it.
Our measurement solution families
- LYSENO – From “lysis” (breaking down) and “eno” (measurement tone), reflecting our ability to decompose motion into ultra-precise, non-contact displacement data
- BARYS – Inspired by “barrel” and “analysis”, designed to reveal internal geometries and wear in structures that cannot be accessed directly
- CAPABLADE – From “capacitive” and “blade”, capturing the dynamics of rotating blades with micrometric precision
- GAPLINE – From “gap” and “line”, expressing continuous, high-precision measurement of critical spacing in constrained assemblies
- GEODYN – From “geometry” and “dynamics”, monitoring how large structures evolve, align and deform over time
- SENSKIN – From “sensing” and “skin”, bringing a sensory layer to machines for interaction, proximity and safety
- KRYON – From “cryo” (extreme cold), dedicated to measurement in cryogenic environments where standard solutions fail
- TILTRA – From “tilt” and “trajectory”, enabling ultra-precise angular positioning and nanopositioning control
- MOVALYS – From “movement” and “analysis”, tracking displacement and alignment in dynamic systems
- LAMINO – From “lamination”, focusing on thickness and uniformity control in industrial processes
Naming is not about marketing.
It is about giving meaning to complex technologies.
Because when measurement becomes complex, understanding is already part of the solution.
